 | Taking a great photo requires equipment knowledge, understanding of photo theory and knowledge of composition rules. Workshop participants will learn all aspects of digital photography and teaching digital workflow to their students. One-on-one instruction, photo critique sessions, group projects and technical training will all be offered. Instruction will take place most mornings during breakfast and will include lessons on lighting and composition, landscape and nature photography, portraits, architectural, night photography and photo essays. Each day we'll schedule sight-seeing opportunities that allow you to practice what you've learned. Besides a digital camera setup, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop for downloading images and working on portfolio assignments. In-service/staff development hours will be offered. You’ll come home with a portfolio of beautiful photographs, a mind full of photo knowledge and tons of new instructional ideas. |
