| The weather in Austria and Spain is as diverse as the topography. In Austria, temperatures can range from highs in the 90's in Vienna to lows in the 50's at the convent. We'll also be spending time at elevations where temperatures are always cool. Plan to bring mostly warm-weather clothing, but also pack a jacket and a few warmer items just in case. June and July in Austria can also bring scattered rain showers, so bring an umbrella. The convent is over 100 years old, the floors are wood and tile, and in the evenings it can get a little chilly inside, so take that into consideration when packing. Madrid is located in the middle of the sun-drenched Iberian peninsula, and as such, the temperatures there in July will be fairly warm. Cool, comfortable clothing is advised, as is sunblock. |
