 | After seven days of exploring Austria and Hungary, the group will fly to Madrid to enjoy the sights, sounds and sun of Spain. Your workshop fee includes three nights accommodation in the Room Mate Laura hotel, located in the center of Madrid within walking distance of all the most popular sights and shopping the city has to offer. The hotel is ultra-modern and unlike anywhere you've probably stayed in the past. Madrid is the capital of Spain and is the cultural, economic and business center of the country. The city of Madrid was first inhabited around 852 AD by the Arab Emir Mohamed I, and his influence can still be seen in the architecture and culture of the city. Concentrated in and around Plaza Mayor, the largest and most famous plaza in Spain, are shops and boutiques selling traditional Spanish clothing, fabrics, ropes, hats, religious articles and souvineers. For a wider shopping variety, directly across the street from our hotel is El Corte Ingles, the largest and most complete department store in the country.
